​Mission

Ethiopia Reads collaborates with communities to build schools, plant libraries, train educators, boost literacy, and provide youth and families with the tools to improve their lives.



Projects

Ethiopia Reads has planted over 70 libraries and 5 schools across Ethiopia, has committed to building 5 new schools in the underserved Kembata-Tembaro zone in Southern Ethiopia, offers training for teachers and librarians, provides furniture and teaching materials for classrooms, works with athletic clubs to build educational and vocational skills in young athletes, and much more!

 

 

​The Reading Run

​

Join us on April 23, 2017 for a family-friendly 5K or 2.5K run/walk benefiting Ethiopia Reads.  The race will take place on the Kansas State Campus and will be officially timed by Manhattan Running Company using the ChronoTrack timing system.  We hope to see you there!
